Pilates in Glasgow: The Highest-Rated Studios and Where to Find Them
25 October 2026 · 5 min read
Glasgow has one of the busiest pilates scenes in the UK. Our directory lists 64 places to do pilates in and around the city, the most of any Scottish city in our directory. Reformer studios cluster in the centre, Finnieston and the Southside, and there are smaller studios out in the suburbs. This guide covers the highest-rated studios, where to look, and what it costs to get started.
The highest-rated pilates studios in Glasgow
This list is ranked by Google rating, then by number of reviews. Only studios with at least 25 reviews are included, so a handful of five-star reviews can’t put a studio at the top. Physio and chiropractic clinics are left out, as they review well for treatments other than pilates. The list updates automatically as ratings change.

Where to find pilates in Glasgow
City centre and Finnieston (G1, G2, G3)
The biggest cluster in the city, with a dozen studios. It includes SOUL Pilates & Movement Studio, the most-reviewed pilates studio in Glasgow in our directory, which teaches on reformer, tower, Cadillac and chair as well as on the mat. There are several reformer-focused studios around Finnieston, too.
West End (G11, G12, G13)
Hyndland, Hillhead, Partick and Anniesland have a good spread of small independent studios and teachers, so you can probably find a class within walking distance.
Southside (G41 to G46, G5)
The Southside is just as well served as the West End. It includes Reset Yoga & Reformer Pilates in Pollokshields and Studio 70, which also runs prenatal and postnatal classes, plus several studios around Tradeston and the Gorbals.
East End (G31, G40)
Dalmarnock and Bridgeton have a growing set of studios, including Meridian Yoga & Pilates for mat classes.
The suburbs
Bearsden, Milngavie, Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch, Uddingston, Newton Mearns and East Kilbride all have local studios. If you live outside the city, you rarely need to travel in for a class.
Pilates or Lagree?
Glasgow also has Lagree studios. Lagree is done on a Megaformer, a machine that looks like a reformer, but classes are usually faster and more intense. It’s a good workout, but it isn’t pilates, so check what a studio teaches before you book.
